Is my gift to The Learning Space Tax Deductible?
The Learning Space is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization which means your gift is up to 100% tax
deductible. The actual amount that you can deduct depends on any benefits you receive in exchange for your gift.
Can I donate stock?
Yes. The Learning Space gladly accepts gifts of publicly traded securities. We will need to know the company stock or mutual fund you intend to transfer, the anticipated value of the gift, and your stockbroker's name, email address and telephone number. You can call us ( ) or submit this information online
Will my company match my gift?
We have a list of companies that match gifts in Washington State. If your company is on the list, you can double or in some cases triple the impact of your gift by completing and returning your company's matching gift form with your gift. If you company is not the list, please check with your employer as this list is updated periodically.
Can I make a gift via direct pay withdrawal?
Many companies offer direct paycheck withdrawal for employees who wish to participate in workplace giving programs such as United Way. Simply designate the Learning Space as your beneficiary organization on the forms provided at your workplace.

How can my gift make the greatest impact on The Learning Space?
Your gift can make the greatest impact if applied to the TLS Annual Fund.
This fund is unrestricted, which allows our Executive Director to use your
gift where it is needed most and will have the greatest impact.
Can I make a restricted gift to The Learning Space?
The Learning Space accepts gifts to the TLS Annual Fund and
Digital
Blackboard program. The TLS Annual Fund is an unrestricted fund meaning that
all gifts to this fund are used at the discretion of the Executive Director.
If you choose to restrict your gift to the Digital Blackboard program, your
gift will directly support our efforts to support students and teachers
serving communities at risk.
Who gives to the TLS Annual Fund?
People who want to make a lasting difference in the lives of teaches and students!
Parents - honor a teacher! We will add the teachers name alongside your name in our donor listing. For example: John and Mary Doe in honor of Nancy Smith, 5th grade teacher, Forks, WA.
Teachers - support a nationally recognized non-profit organization committed to helping teachers advance professionally through innovative uses of technology to improve student learning.
Members - top off your annual membership with a gift to TLS and support the development of new programs and services that will increase the value of your membership.
