This is primarily due to the lack of qualified teachers in our state, which is due to multiple factors including lower than average salaries and teachers being recruited away from our student's classrooms by other states and industries. To make things more challenging, teachers are being asked to do more with less as state funding for education is declining.

We enable teachers to do more with less by providing affordable professional development workshops, seed grants for computer equipment, and an online Learning Space community where members can explore and share innovative uses of technology in the classroom to improve student learning.
